Ranjeet Virali-Murugesan and N Sriram Balaji, two of India’s top players, visited Khelshala on Saturday. Khelshala,an NGO founded by Satinder Bajwa who is the former coach of squash player Jansher Khan, trains underprivileged village kids between the ages of 10 – 18 in sports like squash and tennis. It currently has two centres- at village Attawa for squash and Majra where tennis is taught. Impressed with the NGO,both the players spoke to the children and shared their experiences with them. Pleased with the way the kids had developed their skills, their ability to serve well and play a point in such a short space of time, both the players said they would be back to check the development of these children.
