Aashish Kamat
Aashish is the CEO for UBS in India. In this capacity, he is responsible for all aspects of the business and relationships with clients, regulators, and other key stakeholders. He joined UBS as of June 2011 in Hong Kong, as its Chairman for Financial Institutions Coverage, Investment Bank, for the Asia Pacific region, advising all financial institutions across the region on a variety of issues from capital raising and asset-liability management to corporate governance and risk management.

From 1994 to 2010, Aashish was with JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America, primarily in New York, holding various senior finance and management roles, the last one being as the CFO / COO for JP Morgan's Asia Pacific franchise.

On graduating from college in 1988, Aashish had joined Coopers & Lybrand. He spent six years with them, during which time he received his CPA as a chartered accountant.

Aashish, graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 1988 with a BBA in Accounting / Finance, after having transferred there from Mumbai in January 1986. While at F&M, Aashish was on the Squash team, with his senior year as Co-Captain. He was Second team All-American in his junior and Senior years.

Aashish won the Indian Junior National Championship in 1984, and also represented India at the Asian Junior Squash Championship earlier that year.

Aashish currently resides in Mumbai, India, with his wife Amrita and their two children. He continues to enjoy squash and actively competes in age group events.
